Dear Donor,

In life, if anyone, be a Beggar in the street, a relative or a long time friend, asks you for help, don’t try to analyze their situation or judge them, because there is no way you can understand what they have experienced in life and what circumstances brought them to where they are now.   Just help them if you can, since that is the only right thing to do.  This is the principal that Persian Relief Center beliefs in, and I hope you believe in it too.

Every day we hear more bad news about the economy.  Every day, more people are losing their jobs and their homes, and more children are becoming homeless.  At the same time all the social programs have gone through major cuts and have become overwhelmed and less affective.  Charitable and None-profit organizations have also been greatly affected since both private and government sectors are running on tighter budgets.

Our community of course, is not immune to this crisis and there are people in our community who are forced to walk out of their homes, lose their health insurance, and go on food stamps.

A recently established none-profit organization, Persian Relief Center (PRC), has come to existence to help our community in a right time because there is a greater need than ever for it, but also at a time that getting support has become much harder.  Since PRC has started its mission, five Iranian women who had no where else to turn to, have been able to go under its umbrella and every day more families who are experiencing hardship are seeking help through this organization.

There is no question that our community needs the PRC and more organizations like this to support its needs.  The real question is whether or not Persian community is ready to act with compassion rather than indifference, and with more faith and trust in each other.

With your support we can become a more united and companionate community.  Your donation of just $10 can make a difference in life of those who need our help desperately to survive their unfortunate hardship.

Persian Relief Center is a non-profit charitable organization under section 501 (c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code.

PRC was incorporated on May 09, 2008. PRC Bylaws was certified by the full Board on May 19, 2008. PRC obtained its charitable status on May 30, 2008 from the Internal Revenue Service (IRS). PRC obtained its tax exempt status from the California Franchise Tax Board on December 18, 2008.

All donations to Persian Relief Center are Tax Deductible per the US laws regarding non-profit organizations.
